Marcel Arends

Marcel Arends is currently the Chief Financial Officer for CANSO in the Netherlands and co-founder of STAATER, where they focus on long-term value creation in various sectors. With extensive experience as a finance professional, Marcel has held key management roles at notable organizations, including Sandd, Thales, and the University of Twente. They are also a lecturer in Corporate Governance at Nyenrode Business University and have contributed to numerous social initiatives, including the creation of the financial instrument "De Maatschappelijke Obligatie." Marcel holds multiple certifications, including Certified Public Accountant and Certified Controller, and has a strong academic background in Accountancy and Controlling.
