CANSO
Simon Hocquard is an accomplished leader in the field of air traffic management, currently serving as the Director General of CANSO since August 2016. In this role, Simon is responsible for implementing CANSO’s strategies, expanding its global membership, and strengthening relationships with industry stakeholders. Previously, Simon held various senior positions at NATS from January 2006 to July 2016, including Director of Operations and Strategy, and served as Chairman of the Network Management Board at the European Commission starting in January 2015. Simon’s extensive experience also includes roles in operations management, strategy, and investment, demonstrating a strong commitment to efficient and effective air traffic management solutions. Simon is an alumnus of INSEAD.

CANSO
CANSO – the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation – is the global voice of air traffic management (ATM) worldwide. CANSO Members support almost 90% of world air traffic. Members share information and develop new policies, with the ultimate aim of improving air navigation services (ANS) on the ground and in the air. CANSO represents its Members’ views to a wide range of aviation stakeholders, including the International Civil Aviation Organization, where it has official Observer status. CANSO has an extensive network of Associate Members drawn from across the aviation industry.
