Kim Sharabura

Vice President Software at Cantactix Solutions

Kim Sharabura has a long history of working in the software and technology industry. Kim began their career in 1999 as a Software Developer at JDA Software, where they were the lead developer for JDA Space Automation, a tool for automated creation and updating of planograms for large retail and consumer goods companies. Kim was also a Developer on JDA Space Planning. In 2007, they joined International MOMS Club, where they served as a Conference Coordinator- MOMS Club Online Presence, designing, developing, and launching a custom Web-based portal. Kim also served as Social Media Coordinator, developing and managing the International MOMS Club social media campaign. In 2015, they joined Scouts Canada as Deputy Council Commissioner, overseeing Chinook Council. In this role, they migrated and updated the Chinook Council website from Drupal to WordPress, and designed a program to make training more hands-on, practical, and accessible for volunteers. In 2019, they joined Cantactix Solutions Inc. as Vice President Software, Product Manager, and Software Engineer. As Software Engineer, they were part of a development team for a suite of retail space management software tools, including both established products and new offerings. Her responsibilities included front-end web development, front-end and back-end .NET development, design, and testing.

Kim Sharabura attended Dalhousie University from 1995 to 1999, where they studied Computer Science. In 2020, they obtained a Blue Yonder Alliance Functional Accreditation Certificate and a Blue Yonder Alliance Technical Accreditation Certificate from Blue Yonder. Additionally, they obtained a UX Certificate (Interaction Design Specialty) from the Nielsen Norman Group.
