Olivia Earl

Deputy Lay Clerk at Canterbury Cathedral

Olivia Earl is currently engaged as a Fellow with the National Youth Choir and serves on the Education Team and as a Researcher with the VOCES8 Foundation. Additionally, Olivia holds the position of Graduate Mentor and Alto Choral Scholar at Merton College, Oxford. A Deputy Lay Clerk at Canterbury Cathedral since December 2021, Olivia also performed with Genesis Sixteen as an Alto from August 2022 to July 2023. Previous roles include Alto Choral Scholar at St Bartholomew The Great and Royal Holloway, University of London, where Olivia also acted as PDA School Rep, Academic Rep during the second year in Music, and Peer Guide. Leadership experience includes managing the Royal Holloway Conductors' Collective and serving as Vice President of the Royal Holloway Music Society and Artistic Director for the Royal Holloway Raven Opera Society. Olivia is pursuing an MPhil in Music at the University of Oxford, having completed a Bachelor of Music at Royal Holloway, University of London. Earlier education took place at Kent College, Canterbury.
