David Green

David Green is the Acting CFO at Canterbury District Health Board. David has held this position since August 2020. Prior to this, they were the Financial Controller at CDHB from January 2003 to August 2020. Before that, they were a Financial Analyst at South Island Shared Services Agency from January 2000 to December 2001 and at Health Funding Authority from November 1998 to December 2000. David also worked as a Financial Analyst at the Ministry of Health from January 1998 to December 2003. David Green began their career as an Auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick from January 1986 to December 1989.

David Green completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at The University of Auckland, followed by a 7th form certificate at Mt Roskill Grammar.

David Green reports to Peter Bramley, Chief Executive. They are on a team with Norma Campbell - Executive Director, Midwifery & Maternity Services, Canterbury DHB & West Coast DHB, Tanya McCall - Executive Director, Community & Public Health, and Tracey Maisey - Executive Director, Planning, Funding & Decision Support.
