Joost Lameijer

Joost Lameijer is an experienced interventional radiologist currently working at Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Canterbury since February 2022. Previously, Joost completed a clinical fellowship in interventional radiology at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and held a PhD researcher position at Maastricht UMC+ focusing on biennial screening mammography. Joost has a strong background in radiology, including residency at Catharina Hospital Eindhoven with a specialization in interventional radiology and abdominal radiology, and extensive research experience in orthopedic surgery protocols and outcomes. Education includes a vascular and interventional radiology residency and degrees in medicine from Leiden University, complemented by early research roles and clinical experience.
