Sarah Higgins

Sarah Higgins is a skilled finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and project management. Currently serving as a Project Accountant at Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Canterbury since January 2022, Sarah previously worked as a Management Accountant at Qestral Corporation Limited, where key contributions were made to process improvement and business strategy as part of the senior leadership team. At Oceania Healthcare, Sarah held the position of Group Accountant, overseeing a team of five and managing significant reporting responsibilities while liaising with external auditors. Sarah began the career as an Audit Senior at PKF Goldsmith Fox, after obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Canterbury and completing the Chartered Accounting Qualification with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
