Alison Murphy

Ally Murphy currently serves as the Director of the Annual Fund at Canterbury School, a position held since August 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Director of Annual Giving at the University of Hartford from August 2021 to July 2023, as well as a Social Media Coordinator at UHart Career and Professional Development. During time at the University of Hartford, Ally held various leadership positions within the Student Government Association, including Executive Vice President and Residential Senator. Additionally, roles encompassed Research Assistant for Dr. Matthew Costello and Dr. Sarah Kaye, Office Coordinator at both the Student Committee and Summer Place Camp, a Psychology Intern at True Colors, Inc., and Student Manager at Aramark. Ally holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Gender Studies from the University of Hartford, following an honors education at Longmeadow High School where first chair clarinet was achieved in both wind ensemble and symphony orchestra.
