Kathleen Wernicke

Kathleen Wernicke, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and financial management, currently serving as Controller and Financial Reporting Manager at Cantex Continuing Care Network since February 2012. Prior to this role, Kathleen worked as a Senior Assurance Associate at Travis Wolff LLP, where responsibilities included providing audit and assurance services to private mid-market companies and ensuring compliance with GAAP. Kathleen's earlier experience includes an Audit Associate position at KPMG, focusing on large public and private companies, and a role in the Consumer Industrial Markets Group. Kathleen began their career as a Secretary for CPA at Mark Roberts, CPA, assisting with tax-related tasks and payroll, following an internship at KPMG where foundational audit skills were developed. Kathleen earned a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 2007.
