Michael Colpoys

Michael Colpoys has extensive legal experience, currently serving as a Partner at Cantey Hanger LLP since 2014. Previous positions include Partner/Owner at Smith & Moore, PLLC from December 2006 to December 2013, and Partner at Vial, Hamilton, Koch & Knox from May 1991 to December 2006. Michael also held the role of Partner at Maloney & Smith from July 1986 to April 1991 and at Shank Irwin & Conant from April 1984 to July 1986. Michael Colpoys earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Baylor University School of Law between 1976 and 1978, following a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University from 1973 to 1976.
