Alan Elvy currently serves as the Network Operations Manager at Cantium Business Solutions, a position held since August 2022. Previously, Alan held significant roles at Refinitiv, an LSEG business, including Director of Infrastructure Networks, where accountability included managing large-scale fault-tolerant networks critical to global financial services, and Senior Manager Networks, overseeing global LAN and WAN support. Prior experience at Thomson Reuters included roles such as Network and Change Planning Manager and Manager of Networks and Storage, both emphasizing support for business-critical applications and Datacentre networks. Earlier career experience includes a tenure at CSC as Remote Infrastructure Operations Manager, where Alan led the delivery of outsourced IT services to international clients.

Cantium is a managed ICT partner, providing bespoke IT services and solutions to the UK public sector and its supply chain. Furthermore, all the profits that Cantium generates are fed back into Kent County Council to invest in front-line services and community programmes.
