Daniel Rice

Daniel Rice is an experienced asset and exploration geologist with a focus on the Gulf of Mexico. Currently serving as the Bay Marchand Asset Manager at Cantium since October 2019, Daniel has also managed various GOM Shelf fields including Main Pass and held the position of Senior Geoscientist, where hydrocarbon well prospects were proposed and executed. Prior experience at Chevron from June 2009 to September 2019 includes roles as Wellsite Geologist, Deepwater Asset Development/Exploration Geologist, Exploration Geologist, and Asset Development Geologist, encompassing tasks ranging from preparing geologic reports to subsurface mapping and seismic interpretation. Daniel holds a Master's Degree in Geophysics from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology from Millsaps College.
