Laura Fawcett is currently a Program Librarian at Canton Public Library since March 2001. Laura is also a Reference Librarian with the same company. Additionally, Laura is the Owner and Creator of Laura Lorraine’s Pop Culture Boutique since November 2009, a small scale craft business. Laura presented at mParks - Michigan Recreation and Park Association in February 2018. Laura earned their Masters of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University in 1999 and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the same university in 1991.

Canton Public Library serves more than 90,000 residents of Canton Township, a community in western Wayne County, Michigan. We are a member of The Library Network (TLN) and the Metro Net Library Consortium. The library's director is Eva Davis.
