Tony Foster

Tony Foster is elated to continue his career at Canton Public School District, as the Director of Business Finance. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Jackson State University. He also obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Delta State University. Mr. Foster possesses over 10 years of school business accounting and finance experience.

Mr. Foster began his career in Brandon, MS with Fortenberry and Ballard, CPA Firm, as an intern. He served in different capacities with the firm, ranging from intern to Audit Manager. He has also served as an Assistant Business Manager, Business Manager, and Director of Business Services for school districts in the state. Mr. Foster worked at the Mississippi Department of Education in the Office of School Financial Services as a School Finance Officer. In this role, he provided technical assistance to school districts throughout the state and served as the Lead Financial Facilitator for consolidations in the state. Mr. Foster brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Canton Public School District.
