Mario Mendoza

Mario Mendoza has extensive experience in pediatric surgery, currently serving as the Chief of Department at Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale since August 2004. Prior to this role, Mario held positions as Chef de Clinique at HUG - Hôpitaux and CHUV | Lausanne University Hospital from September 2000 to July 2004. Additionally, Mario was the President of ESPES from September 2020 until the present. Mario's academic credentials include a post-doctoral fellowship from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a degree in Pediatric Surgery from Instituto Nacional de Pediatria, complemented by a fellowship from the Centre Universitaire Kremlin Bicêtre and Centre Chirurgicale Boulogne Billancourt in Paris, France.
