Gary Cocco

Gary Cocco is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in sales and trading legal matters in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Head of Sales and Trading Legal at Cantor Fitzgerald since February 2022, Gary previously held key roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, including Director and Vice President, overseeing futures and OTC clearing documentation. Gary’s expertise encompasses negotiation of complex agreements, development of documentation risk controls, and management of client relationships across global derivatives markets. Prior experience includes positions at J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Lowenstein Sandler PC, with a focus on derivatives legal documentation, risk management, and compliance. Gary holds a JD from Boston University School of Law and a BA in History, Political Science, Economics, and Philosophy from Rutgers University.
