Kim Stallknecht is an experienced editorial photographer with a diverse portfolio spanning several decades. Currently, Stallknecht works as an editorial photographer for Postmedia Network, capturing impactful images for both print and online media since June 1994. In addition, Stallknecht serves as a special events photographer for the BC Technology Industry Association and contributes photography for Vancouver Parks and Recreation, Canuck Place Children's Hospice, and the United Way of the Lower Mainland. Previous roles include photographic contributions to the Vancouver Board of Trade and as a staff photographer for the Calgary Herald. Stallknecht holds a Journalism Degree specializing in Photojournalism and Commercial Photography from Mount Royal University.

Canuck Place Children's Hospice
Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is British Columbia and Yukon’s pediatric palliative care provider. Over 871 children living with life-threatening illnesses and families from five provincial health regions receive Canuck Place inpatient and outpatient care (in home/in hospital). Canuck Place operates 13 patient beds and 8 family suites through two hospices in Vancouver and Abbotsford. Services include medical respite and family support, pain and symptom management, 24-hour virtual care, music and recreation therapy, education and art, grief, loss, and bereavement counselling, as well as end-of-life care. Through the investment of the community, our talented team, and over 400 energetic volunteers we make a lasting difference in the lives of children and the families who love them.
