May Cho is a dedicated individual currently serving as a Peer Volunteer at Canuck Place Children's Hospice since January 2023. May has gained additional experience as a Pharmacy Assistant at Shoppers Drug Mart from June 2023 to January 2024 and previously worked as a Team Member at Freshii for a brief period in 2022. May is pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at The University of British Columbia from 2024 to 2028, following the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same institution in 2024. May's academic foundation includes an International Baccalaureate Diploma earned at Mulgrave School, the International School of Vancouver, between 2007 and 2020.

Canuck Place Children's Hospice
Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is British Columbia and Yukon’s pediatric palliative care provider. Over 871 children living with life-threatening illnesses and families from five provincial health regions receive Canuck Place inpatient and outpatient care (in home/in hospital). Canuck Place operates 13 patient beds and 8 family suites through two hospices in Vancouver and Abbotsford. Services include medical respite and family support, pain and symptom management, 24-hour virtual care, music and recreation therapy, education and art, grief, loss, and bereavement counselling, as well as end-of-life care. Through the investment of the community, our talented team, and over 400 energetic volunteers we make a lasting difference in the lives of children and the families who love them.
