Cassandra Hyek

Cassandra Hyek is an experienced accounting professional currently working at Canva since September 2025. Prior to this role, Cassandra held significant positions at Vanta as Director of Accounting, and at Snowflake as Senior Director and Director of Accounting from August 2020 to May 2025. Cassandra's earlier experience includes a tenure at Zendesk, where multiple roles were assumed including Director of Finance & Strategy and various positions in Global Accounting from October 2014 to October 2019. Cassandra began volunteering at Tax-Aid in February 2013 to prepare tax returns for low-income individuals and develop partnerships for skills-based volunteering. Cassandra served on the board of the Eviction Defense Collaborative, Inc. and accumulated valuable experience at Ernst & Young as a Senior Associate and intern, specializing in various accounting and auditing areas. Cassandra earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University in 2010.
