Elliot Zoerner

Elliot Zoerner is an experienced software engineer currently working at Canva since June 2025, specializing in frontend development. Prior to this role, Elliot served as a software team leader and frontend engineer at Aligent from October 2019 to May 2025. Elliot's earlier career includes co-founding Gravity & Other Myths, where a focus on contemporary performance helped the company grow into a significant player in the Australian circus scene, with over 30 team members and multiple shows touring globally. Additionally, Elliot worked as a drum teacher at OLSH College from February 2010 to April 2013. Elliot holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of New England (2017-2019) and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Adelaide (2011-2014), complemented by studies at the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2013 and a South Australian Certificate of Education from Glenunga International High School (2005-2009).
