Matthew Hart

Matthew Hart is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in various roles within cybersecurity. Currently serving as the Head of Security at Canva since March 2022, Matthew has previously held multiple leadership positions at Atlassian from July 2015 to February 2022, including Security Engineering Manager and Principal Security Engineer, where Matthew developed the Ecosystem Platform Security Program to enhance security across Atlassian's products. Additionally, Matthew has experience in building and managing the Bug Bounty program, which significantly expanded its scope and effectiveness. Prior to Atlassian, Matthew worked as a Systems Developer at the University of Adelaide, contributing to the modeling of complex distributed systems. Matthew holds a degree from the University of Adelaide, completed in 2015.
