Phillip Tibballs

Phillip Tibballs is an accomplished motion designer with extensive experience in the design and animation industry. Currently serving as Principal Motion Designer and Motion Lead at Canva since June 2020, Phillip has previously held significant roles including Creative Lead and Senior Motion Designer at Never Sit Still from November 2017 to March 2020, and Designer at AnalogFolk from October 2014 to February 2016. As a freelance Designer/Animator from February 2016 to May 2020, Phillip collaborated with prominent Sydney-based studios and agencies such as Buck, Never Sit Still, Re, Interbrand, AnalogFolk, and Milkmoney. Early career experiences include positions as a Motion Designer/Animator at Screencraft Media from March 2008 to June 2012 and freelance work at Milkmoney in 2013-2014. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Design from Billy Blue College of Design (2012-2015), a Diploma in Screen from the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (2008-2009), and an Advanced Diploma in Electronic Design from Canberra Institute of Technology (2006-2007).
