Tod Francis

Tod Francis is the Founder and Managing Director of Shasta Ventures, an investment firm specializing in early-stage technology-enabled companies with a focus on consumer services, since October 2003. Additionally, Tod serves as a Seed Investor for Canva and is actively involved as an investor in Tonal, Zwift, and Maurten. In the nonprofit sector, Tod is a Board Member for SOS Outreach and Protect Our Winters, contributing to programs that support underprivileged youth and advocate for climate action. Tod also holds board positions at ClassDojo, Stance Socks, and LiquidSpace, with significant contributions to advancements in education technology, action sports branding, and flexible workspaces. Education credentials include an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.
