Gene Porter

Gene Porter, MBA, PMP, currently serves as an Acquisition Management Analyst at Canvas, Inc. since November 2023. Previously, Gene held various roles at Vision Centric, Inc. including Foreign Military Sales Integrator and Senior Acquisition Management Analyst from August 2022 to November 2023. At Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation, Gene worked as a Senior Foreign Military Sales Analyst and a Senior Acquisition Management Analyst from January 2019 to November 2023. Gene also served as Deputy Chief, Contracting at the US Army Corps of Engineers, overseeing a large organization executing contracts exceeding $900M annually. Earlier experience includes a Contracting Officer role at the Defense Intelligence Agency, where Gene managed complex contracts valued at over $200M, and served as Foreign Military Sales Program Manager for a multi-case portfolio exceeding $300M.
