Nuno Silva

Nuno Silva is a highly experienced software engineer with a focus on mobile app development. Nuno has over a decade of experience in this field and has worked with various clients across different industries. Nuno has successfully led teams in delivering mobile apps and has demonstrated adaptability by transitioning to backend development using Django.

At Glazed - Elite Developers, Nuno worked as a Senior Software Engineer from 2016. Nuno was responsible for creating user-friendly and high-performance mobile experiences for clients. Nuno also played a key role in upgrading the codebase and optimizing backend code.

In 2021, Nuno joined Canvas Medical as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in backend development with Django. Nuno worked on building APIs using FHIR to assist Canvas in achieving ONC-certification. Nuno is currently a member of the performance team, focusing on optimizing backend code and providing guidance on best practices.

At Airmeet, Nuno served as the Mobile Team Lead in 2020. Nuno led the iOS team in developing a virtual event platform. Nuno defined the project architecture, built the proof of concept, and successfully delivered a high-quality iOS app for Airmeet.

Nuno also worked on various projects as a Senior Mobile Engineer. Nuno collaborated with WeChangers to build a secure messaging app for their impact technology platform. With LVMH, Nuno focused on building enterprise iOS apps for sales associates of luxury brands, aimed at enhancing the selling experience in stores. Nuno also addressed performance issues with the CircleIn iOS app and integrated new features into the Noteworth iOS app, which required connectivity with smart health devices.

Prior to these roles, Nuno served as the Head of Mobile Engineering at NMusic, where they led both iOS and Android teams and delivered high-quality mobile experiences. Nuno also worked as a Mobile Engineer at NMusic and was responsible for developing and maintaining the iOS app.

Before joining NMusic, Nuno gained experience as a Mobile Software Engineer at ISA - Intelligent Sensing Anywhere and as a Software Developer at NDrive.

Nuno Silva obtained a B.Sc degree in Computer Science from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto in 2007. Nuno further pursued their education and completed an M.Sc degree in Computer Science, Logic and Computation from the same institution between the years 2007 and 2009.
