Angel Martinez

Angel Martinez is a journalist and independent researcher with a diverse portfolio across various publications. Currently focusing on features and opinion pieces related to internet culture and identity, Martinez has also contributed to case studies and insights for brands in the APAC region while working with Forge | Foresight & Futures and Canvas8. Previous experiences include UX writing for Kontinentalist, where Angel refined user-centric content for a data storytelling tool, and an editorial fellowship which involved leading teams in creating data-driven narratives. Additionally, Angel has engaged as a cultural trendspotter for Crowd DNA and held internship roles in public relations, strategic planning, and marketing technology, demonstrating a strong foundation in communications and research. Martinez holds a Bachelor of Science in Management with a major in Communications Technology Management from Ateneo de Manila University.
