Matt Torra has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matt has worked at Canyon Ranch since 2014, starting as the Bell Services Manager and eventually progressing to become the Facilities Assistant Director, Hotel Associate Director, Executive Housekeeper, and currently the Director of Facilities. From 2018 to 2022, they were also involved with the North Adams SteepleCats, serving as the General Manager and later the President & General Manager. Additionally, they have prior experience as a Construction Worker at Jim's Building and Remodeling since 2000. Matt also had a career in professional baseball at MiLB from 2005 to 2013.

Matt Torra earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management from the University of Phoenix, attending from 2010 to 2012. Matt also pursued studies in Hospitality Administration/Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2002 to 2005.
