Zhisong Cao

Zhisong Cao is the CEO and Chief Chemist at Cao Pharmaceuticals. Zhisong previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow at UTMB from June 1992 to April 1994. While at UTMB, Zhisong studied the possible mechanism of breast cancer caused by 4-hydroxylation of estrogens and synthesized 6-oxeestrogens (by total synthesis) to inhibit the 4-hydroxylation reaction of estrogens. Zhisong published 5 articles in various journals.

Zhisong Cao has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from University of Delaware and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Huazhong Normal University.
