Paul Leslie-Smith has held various positions in the supply chain and operations fields since 1993. Paul began their career at The South African Breweries, where they held the roles of Regional Planning Manager, Distribution Development Manager, and Project Accountant. In 1998, they joined Sappi as Vice President & General Manager of Specialty Products, where they had P&L accountability for a $145M global specialties business unit, and was a core member of the Group Strategy Team. Paul also held the role of Group Head of Investor Relations, where they received 3 international awards for leadership and excellence in stakeholder communications. In 2010, they joined Pulse Consulting as Principal, advising clients on integrated supply chain optimization, operations leadership, packaging and paper manufacturing, commercial operations and S&OP. In 2013, they became Vice President of Supply Chain at SABMiller, leading end-to-end Supply Chain and Procurement for SABMiller's Bavaria business unit. In 2018, they joined BeGreen Supply as Advisory Member and Chief Operating Officer. In 2021, they became Vice President of Supply Chain & Fulfillment at Boosted Commerce, where they developed and implemented the end-to-end supply chain, operations and fulfillment strategy spanning people, processes and systems, and supported 5x business growth. In 2022, they will join Cap Hill Brands as Chief Supply Chain Officer.

Paul Leslie-Smith completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town in 1993. Paul then obtained a Postgraduate in Management Accounting (PMA) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, followed by a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) in Information Technology, and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in Business/Managerial Economics, both from the same university. In 2012, they obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from the AICPA, and in 1998 they obtained the Fellow, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) certification from CIMA.
