Themba Gumbo

Themba Gumbo is an experienced professional in the field of water management and engineering. Currently serving as Director at Cap-Net, UNDP since March 2011, Themba has a solid background that includes roles as Project Manager for Water Demand Management at DBSA from March 2009 to March 2011, and Manager at WaterNet from March 2005 to February 2009. Previous experience also includes working as a Training and Instructional Designer at TIDASA from March 2004 to February 2005, and as a Lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe and Wits from November 1995 to March 2004. Themba holds a PhD in Water Engineering from Delft University of Technology, an MSc Eng in Water and Waste Engineering from Loughborough University, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe. Education was completed at Milton High School in koBulawayo.
