Michael Lefkowitz

Michael joined Capano Management in 2023 as CFO, bringing with him 30 years of real estate accounting, finance and business development experience. He most recently served as CFO at Questar, a multi-generational Maryland based owner, developer and manager of a property portfolio that includes 414 Light Street. There Mike oversaw accounting and finance operations, with responsibilities including strategic planning, budgeting, cost control and communicating financial information to Questar’s management and lending institutions.

Prior to Questar, Michael served in various senior roles with Toll Brothers (NYSE: TOL), including controller for a +$200 million division and VP of Finance where he led or helped secure over $2.5 billion in build-out value of properties as well as debt and equity. Previous to his experience at Toll Brothers, he was part of The Rouse Company, a publicly traded shopping mall and community developer, and Ernst & Young.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Delaware, a Masters of Business Administration from University of Baltimore, and is a CPA.
