Erik De Boer

Erik De Boer is currently a board member at Caparis, and has previously held positions at Ziekenhuis Nij Smellinghe, Univé Verzekeringen, Deloitte Nederland, Nijestee, Zonnehuisgroep Noord, and Friesland Bank.

De Boer began their career in 2003 as managing director of credit risk management retail for ING. Erik then moved to Friesland Bank in 2006, where they served as director of treasury and financial markets until 2013. That year, they became director of financial risk management at Deloitte Nederland.

In 2015, De Boer returned to the insurance industry, taking on the role of head of asset management and treasury at Univé Verzekeringen. Erik remained in this position until 2017, when they joined the board of Caparis.

Additionally, Erik De Boer has completed a VWO at Luzac College, SSG Leeuwarden, Gymnasium Leeuwarden.
