Elizabeth Vergara

Elizabeth Vergara serves as the Directora del Departamento de Bioconstrucción y Desarrollo Sostenible at CAPBACS since August 2023 and is a Socia at Ekosystem Associate, actively engaging in sustainable construction practices to address climate change. Elizabeth holds multiple roles including Consultora en CC35 and Jefa de Trabajos Prácticos - Representación Arquitectónica at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, where Elizabeth emphasizes a transdisciplinary approach to architecture and design. Elizabeth also contributes to urban sustainability initiatives through their involvement as an Investigadora de Bosques Asociados in the Cities4Forests program and has coordinated the Commission on Habitat and Gender within the Ministerio de Desarrollo Territorial y Hábitat. Elizabeth's educational background includes multiple degrees from the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in project research, environmental management, and architecture. Currently, Elizabeth is pursuing advanced studies in urban management and cities.
