Ming-Lun Wu has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2013, they worked as a Research Intern at the University of Minnesota. They then went on to work as a Researcher and Tutor/Supplementary leader at the University of Florida from 2012 to 2014. Ming-Lun Wu gained additional research experience as a Research and Development Intern at Nanotherapeutics, Inc. in 2014. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Research Associate I/II at A2 Biotherapeutics, Inc. During this time, they also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science. Their responsibilities included supervising students and conducting research. In 2021, Ming-Lun Wu joined Mantra Bio as a Data Analyst II/Automation Engineer II/System Engineer II. They developed data analysis and visualization templates to create dashboards for internal and external stakeholders, automated lab procedures, and performed ETL processes. Ming-Lun Wu also conducted data analysis, troubleshooted faulty data pipelines, and monitored equipment usage. They collaborated closely with laboratory and data scientists to design experiments and improve technology. Currently, Ming-Lun Wu is working at CAPE Analytics as a Data Analyst, starting in 2022.
Ming-Lun Wu pursued their education in a chronological manner. Ming-Lun started by attending the University of Florida from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Following this, they pursued further studies at UCLA from 2014 to 2016, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Most recently, in 2020 and 2021, Ming-Lun Wu enrolled in Springboard to complete the Data Science Career Track Certification program.
