Semyon Karev

Semyon Karev has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Semyon is currently working at CAPE Analytics as a Software Engineer since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at zooplus as a Software Engineer from November 2018 to December 2021.

Before joining zooplus, Semyon worked at Firmshift as a DevOps Engineer from May 2017 to October 2018. Semyon also worked at FOODit.com as a Software Engineer from November 2013 to January 2017.

Semyon's early career includes positions at T-Systems CIS, Exigen Services, ASG Engineering, GGA Software Services, and Scite Ltd. At T-Systems CIS, they served as a Senior Software Developer from February 2012 to January 2014. At Exigen Services, they worked as a Software Developer from January 2011 to February 2012. At ASG Engineering, they held the role of Software Developer from July 2010 to January 2011. At GGA Software Services, they served as a Software Developer from May 2009 to July 2010. Lastly, they worked at Scite Ltd. as a Developer from October 2007 to August 2008.

Throughout their career, Semyon has gained experience in various roles, including software engineering, system design and architecture, project management, and database administration. Semyon has worked on a range of projects and has acquired new skills throughout their career.

Semyon Karev completed their education at Saint Petersburg State University of Transport Communications from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Specialist degree in Information Security. In addition to their formal education, Semyon also earned certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Tune IT in August 2018, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) from SI IELTS Test Centre - St. Petersburg in December 2014, and OCPJP Java Standard Edition 6 Programmer Certified Professional Exam in April 2012.
