Theodore Smith

Theodore Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Theodore is currently working as a Senior Client Success Manager in Real Estate at CAPE Analytics. Prior to this, Theodore worked at CNA Insurance as an ERM Consulting Director, where they were responsible for risk identification, assessment, and reporting. At RMS, they held multiple roles, including Manager of Model Specialists, Team Lead of Model Specialists, Senior Solution Specialist, and Model Solution Specialist, where they provided expertise and support for climate windstorm models. Theodore also worked as a Client Services Specialist at IQ Technology Solutions and as a Research Intern at Desert Research Institute. Theodore gained IT experience as an Information Technology Specialist at REMSA and an IT Support Technician at The Ohio State University. Additionally, Theodore had an internship at the Environmental Law & Policy Center, where they conducted climate trend research.

Theodore Smith received their B.S. in Geography with a focus on Climate Science from The Ohio State University in 2010. Theodore then pursued an M.A. in Climate Science and Policy at Columbia University from 2012 to 2013. In 2015, they obtained the Certified Catastrophe Risk Analyst (CCRA) certification from RMS.
