Katie Fleming

Katie Fleming, DVM, MPH, is an Associate Veterinarian at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists since June 2023. Prior to this role, Katie completed externships at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, Tri-Vet Associates, and Amici Cannis, where extensive surgical and diagnostic experience was gained. Notable contributions include performing over 40 surgeries on various animals and collaborating on treatment plans. Katie also interned with the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds, participated in research on human impacts on wildlife, and worked on projects involving One Health communication in the Arctic. Academic credentials include a DVM and MPH from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Iowa State University.
