William Dotson has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Police Officer at the Cape Coral Police Department since July 2019, specializing in DUI traffic enforcement. Prior to this role, William served as a Police Officer in Lancaster, Ohio, from August 2012 to July 2019, and in the Carey Police Department from February 2007 to August 2012. Additionally, William has been a Chief Petty Officer Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy Reserve since July 2006. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from American Military University (2011-2016).
