Heidi Hackett

Heidi Hackett, CLGFO, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Customer Service at Cape Fear Public Utility Authority since October 2022. Prior to this role, Hackett held the position of Utility Finance Manager at the City of Durham from December 2017 to October 2022. Additional experience includes serving as Finance and Customer Service Director for the Town of Hillsborough, Finance and Customer Service Manager at Orange Water and Sewer Authority, and Financial Administrator at Shiloh Place Ministries. Hackett's career also includes ownership of Help at Home Senior Care and roles at Fidelity Employer Services Company and Windshields America. Academically, Hackett holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Bentley University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, along with several certificates in Government and Customer Service from the University of Georgia and Durham Technical Community College.
