Janet Kane

Janet Kane is an accomplished business development professional with extensive experience in the real estate industry. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Cape Fear REALTORS® since January 2024, Janet has previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at MetroTex Association of REALTORS® from April 2018 to July 2023, and the Chief Executive Officer at SouthEast Valley Regional Association of REALTORS from July 2012 to April 2018. Additionally, Janet served as Chief Operating Officer at Washington Association of REALTORS from December 1991 to June 2012. With a strong background in nonprofit management, budgeting, volunteer management, human resources, strategic planning, and event management, Janet is recognized for exceptional presentation and communication skills, along with leadership in advocacy efforts. Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Oregon State University, graduated in 1984.
