John Donoghue

John Donoghue is the Founder and President of Cape Fear Solar Systems, LLC, established in 2007 to promote alternative energy in Southeastern North Carolina. With a strong background in renewable energy system design and installation, John leads the development and management of a certified alternative energy solutions provider offering photovoltaic, solar thermal, and solar pool heating systems. John's credentials include being a licensed general contractor in North Carolina and a NABCEP Certified Solar Thermal & PV Installer™, along with active participation in national and international energy associations. Prior to this venture, John held leadership positions at Firth Rixson Plc. as Regional Manager for Continental Europe and Forged Metals Incorporated, where roles included Director of International Sales and European Sales Manager, contributing to significant revenue growth across various markets. John's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and an MBA in Marketing/Finance from the University of Bridgeport, among other academic achievements.
