Felipe Alfonso Ortiz Vega has worked in the legal field since 2006. Felipe Alfonso began their career at Urrutia y Compañia Abogados as an Associate Lawyer, specializing in mining law, property control and constitution for Barrick Gold Corp. Felipe Alfonso then moved to UNITED GOLD LLC in 2011 as a Legal Counsel. In 2014, they took on two roles, Director at Antu Energy SpA and Consultant Lawyer at G2Spectra, LLC, where they specialized in photovoltaic parks, EPC contracts, PPA contracts, energy and natural resources, mining law, environmental law, corporate law and foreign investment. In 2016, they joined CHR: Chile Registros ahora es CHR as a Senior Lawyer, specializing in strategies, procedures, negotiations and contracts for the use, protection and occupation of the territory. Felipe Alfonso was also a leader of local teams throughout Chile and an integrator of different state organizations for the development of projects. In 2017, they became the Legal Director at CAPE Global Consulting.

Felipe Alfonso Ortiz Vega has a diverse educational background. Felipe Alfonso completed a Curso Diplomado Derecho Electrico, Mercado Electrico y Tarifas at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2016. In 2013, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a Postgraduate degree in Financial Law and Regulation. Felipe Alfonso also completed a Diplomado Recurso Naturales at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2011, with a focus on Mineria y Energia. Finally, they obtained a Licenciado en ciencias juridicas y sociales degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2006, after completing a five-year program as an Abogado.
