Cape Symphony
Lara Forde is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Finance at Cape Symphony since December 2020, overseeing accounting operations for the organization. Previous roles include Controller for a non-profit organization, Accounting & Operations Manager at Sentrol, Inc., Assistant Controller at Napoli Management, and Payroll & Accounting Manager at Dimensions Design & Wellness Studio. Lara has also worked as Finance Manager for Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts and served as Financial Administrator at Harvard Medical School. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and Behavior from Northeastern University, a Graduate Certificate in Accounting and Finance from Harvard University, and an undergrad certificate in Human Resources Management from Northeastern University.

At the Cape Symphony, our mission is to inspire joy. We do this through outstanding entertainment and educational programs. Cape Cod’s very own professional orchestra, the Cape Symphony, performs at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center in Hyannis.
