Glenda Nevill is an experienced media professional currently serving as the news editor at Cape Town TV since October 2021. Since January 2011, Glenda has held the position of editor for themediaonline.co.za and The Media magazine at Arena Holdings. Previous roles include freelance sub-editor positions at Daily Maverick and News24Wire, as well as a media strategist and writer at Oryx Multimedia from 2008 to 2011. Glenda was the launch editor of The Property Magazine in 2004 and served as editor of The Big Issue South Africa from 1998 to 2003. Early career experience includes roles at the Sunday Times and The Citizen newspaper. Glenda holds a journalism diploma from Durban Technikon.

Cape Town TV is a non-profit, free-to-air, community television service operating in the greater Cape Town metropolitan area. CTV was founded by over 100 non-profit organisations in 2006 and launched in September 2008. CTV is committed to providing community access to the powerful medium of television as a tool to promote community development, human rights and social justice. The station broadcasts from a central studio based in Observatory, linked by a microwave link to a transmitter located on the Tygerburg Hill. The broadcasting footprint encompasses all those areas that that are in “line-of- sight” of the transmitter for a 100 km radius, including all the areas that lie between Atlantis, Stellenbosch, the City Bowl and Muizenburg with an estimated population for 2.5 million people
