Mike Aldridge

Mike Aldridge is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in broadcasting, production, and consultancy. Currently serving as the Broadcast & Programme Manager and Head of Technical Operations at Cape Town TV since January 2020, Mike oversees multiple departments including Technical Operations, IT, and Regulatory Affairs. Previous roles include media producer at Media Stream, co-founder and Broadcast Manager at Cape Town TV, and Deputy Editor at PMR.Africa and Professional Marketing Review magazine. Mike's expertise encompasses video production, technical strategy, copywriting, and digital content management, complemented by a Master of Arts in Cultural and Media Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
