Ashleigh Upton

Ashleigh Upton has a strong background in human resources and financial management. Ashleigh served as the Head of Remuneration & Benefits at Cape Union Mart Group, where they developed and implemented a comprehensive remuneration and benefits strategy. Ashleigh also maintained job profiles, remuneration benchmarking, and job grading in line with the company's remuneration policy. Prior to that, they worked in various roles at Risk Benefit Solutions, including Human Resources Manager, where they managed the implementation of HR strategy, recruitment and selection, payroll functions, and employee wellness initiatives. Ashleigh also had experience in change management, performance management, and industrial relations. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Financial Manager at Ascent Insurance Brokers.

Ashleigh Upton obtained a Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Town in 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Human Resources Management and Services at Varsity College between 2010 and 2011.
