Matt Thomas

Matt Thomas currently holds the position of Head of Legal at Capella Capital since March 2024. Prior to this role, Matt served as Deputy Head of Legal, Construction and Senior Legal Counsel at Lendlease from April 2018 to March 2024. Matt’s legal career began at Allens, where responsibilities included the role of Senior Associate from January 2009 to April 2018. Educational credentials include a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Melbourne, obtained from 2012 to 2016, and dual degrees in Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from The University of Queensland, completed from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, Matt participated in the MDP 2.0 Management Development Program at INSEAD in September 2022, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
