Aaron Umber

Aaron Umber is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in RF systems design and testing. Currently serving as a Senior RF Systems Design Engineer and Senior RF Test Engineer at Capella Space since June 2019, Aaron leads the manufacturing of satellite components, manages a team of engineers and technicians, and develops software for automated test setups. Prior to this role, Aaron worked as a contractor at Boeing for a brief period in early 2019, and previously held an engineering position at Boeing from August 2001 to April 2017, focusing on custom electronics design and high-frequency RF equipment. Early career experience includes a coop student role at Raytheon from August 1997 to August 2001. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Purdue University, earned between 1996 and 2001, and a high school diploma from Eagan High School, completed in 1996.
