Yuriy Goncharenko

Yuriy Goncharenko is a Senior Radar Engineer at Capella Space since June 2021, with previous roles as a Radar Systems Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Scientist II at Colorado State University and a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham’s School of Electronic, Electrical and Computer Engineering. Yuriy's expertise also encompasses a tenure as a Visiting Scientist (Fulbright Scholar) at the Applied Physics Laboratory of the University of Washington. Earlier career positions include a range of roles from Electrical Engineer to Senior Researcher at the Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics NAS of Ukraine, and a Software Engineer at the Institute of Ionosphere NAS of Ukraine. Yuriy holds a PhD in Radiophysics from the Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics NAS of Ukraine and a Master of Science in Radio Engineering and Radiophysics from Kharkiv Technical University.
