Zachary Johns

Zachary Johns is a Senior Design Engineer at Capella Space since August 2018, where responsibilities include supporting the deployable structures division through design, testing, manufacturing, and project management. From June 2015 to August 2018, Zachary served as Camp Director and Program Counselor at Philmont Scout Ranch, where management, staff training, and backcountry leadership were key roles. Additionally, Zachary held a position as a Mechanical Engineer on contract at Small Precision Tools, Inc. in 2017, focusing on automation upgrades for semiconductor production lines in Asia. Early career experience includes an internship at Brother Mobile Solutions, where Zachary developed assembly drawings and improved existing models. Zachary earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Denver in 2017.
